Satoshi Kon died at an early age of Pancreatic cancer. He left us four feature films and one season of TV with the series “Paranoia Agent.” He tested the bounds of anime, expanding the what the genre could do. Despite high acclaim in his homeland of Japan, Satoshi Kon failed to gain that kind of notoriety in the west like his counter-part Hayao Miyazaki. But still his films, have a small cult following in the States and have even influenced filmmakers like Darren Aronofsky and Christopher Nolan.

    You guys even managed to make me watch anime :) I loved this episode, though I think a perfect filmmaker not doing the one for me one for them them thing is P.T. Anderson. Love the guy, can’t wait for The Masters and your series on him!
