In 1963, to follow-up the very successful “Dr. No,” Harry Saltzman and Albert R Broccoli made a second James Bond film and it wasn’t a direct sequel to the previous film. “From Russia With Love” was the first James Bond film to introduce many of the elements we’d would see in later film including a title song, a pre-credit mission sequence, and the famous Bond gadgets. In many ways, people consider “From Russia With Love” to be the first real James Bond film.

But what separates “From Russia With Love” with “Dr. No?” Why did “From Russia With Love” feel more dynamic than its predecessor? And why do so many people consider “From Russia With Love” the best James Bond has to offer?
